Thanksgiving Crushing!

Seams quite fitting to have a solid Walleye outing on Thanksgiving eve…Boom. My marina-mate Rick whose boat is also at SouthShore, came aboard our Alumacraft and got a hot hand!! He scored that beauty about an hour prior to that quick storm that rolled through Wednesday evening around 7pm…. Speaking of storm, his first fish came on a Storm Swim-bait i wanted him to try, love that! ….and our other Walters came on diving bass colored Rapalas. It seams the long Indian Summer has fostered a massive class of pannies and baby bass- because our catches this year are on Rapalas matching these color patterns…

The water temp was hovering around 43 degrees last night, but still a large amount of loose weeds and leaves which generally are gone by late November…. Plan to get 1-2 more outings before putting boat away December 5. Will share our catches then!!
