Saratoga Lake fishing on mild/sunny Spring afternoons can be “dynamite on a boat”! Once found and ready to feed, fishing turns into catching a slab Crappie, a battling Bluegill, colorful Perch, or giant Rock Bass…..We are talking about tanks and lots of them!! Very often some early curious hungry Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass show up into our warming coves and bays and it’s “Game On”!!!
This type of fast action is just what the Dr. ordered after a long winter. It makes a great opportunity to introduce kids to fishing since the action can get “Fast and Furious”, and it’s the perfect trip for anyone to shake off the rust and try out some new tactics and prep for the fishing and boating season!!
